A persistent galaxy
Found a nation anywhere in a galaxy of more than a hundred thousand systems. Claim worlds, lay hyperlanes and organise states. The galaxy never resets, and your stockpiles keep filling while you're away.
Sign in, pick a star far from everyone else, and name your nation. That star is your capital.
Spend influence to take systems near your space. Jumping the gaps between star clusters costs more the further you reach.
Lay hyperlanes with minerals, upgrade them to express with alloys, and cut the ones you don't want used.
Every nation has a sprawl limit. Organise states to raise it. Grow past it and yields fall, upkeep climbs and claims get steep.
From every star, more from hot blue ones and multiple-star systems. Pays upkeep.
From every system, with a bonus for asteroid belts. Builds lanes.
From yellow and orange stars, and from black holes. Builds express lanes.
Grows with your capital and your states. Every claim spends it.
Not a stockpile but a limit: how much you can hold before the empire strains.
